European Year of Cultural Heritage
in Ingelheim!
Under the heading Sharing Heritage, the EU proclaimed 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage. This was intended to stimulate the sharing of cultural heritage. To this effect, numerous projects were carried out throughout Europe.

From August 10th to November 24th 2018, the research centre Kaiserpfalz Ingelheim did participate, with an exciting programme, in the Year of Cultural Heritage. Full-size reconstructions, special signage and many events, placed under the heading Places of Power - The Imperial Palace Ingelheim and the World of the Middle Ages, offered new insights into the Imperial Palace Ingelheim of the 8th and 9th centuries.
